| Pico Ibituruna in Governador Valadares is one of the best-known flying sites in South America for paragliding and hang gliding. This attraction brought myself and several flying friends to this part of the state of Minas Gerais. Otherwise known for its abundance of mineral resources. Flying was about to launch me on a never ending adventure into the world of gemstones. |

With such a large supply of rough stones naturally a faceting industry is present in the cities and small towns as well |
